Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using Cryptogramly (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service

Cryptogramly provides substitution-cipher ("cryptogram") word puzzles generated from a curated corpus of public-domain quotations, available in English and Montenegrin. You may play as a guest, which is limited to a set number of puzzles per day, or create a free account to remove that limit and get no-repeat puzzle selection. Features may change, be added, or be withdrawn over time.

Accounts

You may create an account with an email address and password, or by signing in with Google. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your credentials confidential, and that you are responsible for all activity under your account. Accounts are for a single individual; do not share them. You must be old enough to consent to this kind of service in your country (see the Privacy Policy for our position on children).

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• access the Service by automated means, scrape, or bulk-download puzzles or content;
• attempt to probe, disrupt, overload, or circumvent the Service's limits or security;
• reverse engineer or copy the Service except as permitted by law;
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that infringes others' rights.

We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms.

Intellectual property

The quotations used in the puzzles are drawn from public-domain and openly-licensed sources and are not claimed by us. However, the Service itself — the software, the puzzle generation, the site design, the "Cryptogramly" name and branding, and the organization and presentation of the content — is owned by Cryptogramly or its licensors and is protected by law. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own non-commercial puzzle-solving.

Third-party sign-in

If you sign in with Google, your use of that feature is also subject to Google's terms and privacy policy. We receive only the limited profile information described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that puzzle content is free of inaccuracies (for example, an occasional misattributed quotation).

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cryptogramly will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising out of your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

Changes

We may modify these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above; material changes may also be signalled in the Service. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the Service.
